Interesting - I was just craving french toast this morning. I love this site. And I thought my poached eggs served on buttery toasted como bread and doused in el Tapatio sauce was fancy...
Joe -
Sounds intriguing... we will definitely have to look into that one. Now just a few Q's: a) what is como bread, and b) where and how can one find/make el Tapatio sauce? Clearly we are missing out on a few key ingredients here in breakfast land...

OooOoOoOo...
Will you make blueberry pancakes next Sunday? I want to see you fancy them up.
julia - I wish that I could (you're suggestion even made me come up with a few ideas to Emerify it) but we'll be away this Sunday, visiting friends up in the big city of Calgary for St. Patrick's Day. The following weekend, however, I think we might be pancaking it up thanks to you.
Hi- Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Como bread is a little like french but a darker flavor (if that makes any sense) and is chewy and crunchy. El Tapatio is brand name - it has a more tomatoe flavor and isn't quite as hot as tabasco.
